Designing and Building Are My Side Hobbies

I occasionally create digital products using no-code platforms because I believe they empower designers to transition from design to design + build. I dedicate my free time to exploring these tools and creating projects I envision.

Here are a few examples:

Overview
Popular fitness content creators “B.U.F.F Dudes” are my favorite influencers in the health and fitness category.
Their authentic, straight-forward, fun, and creative approach to fitness instruction is what prompted me into a healthier and more active lifestyle almost 10 years ago. It’s true, the world doesn't need another fitness app, but the world needs the B.U.F.F Dudes app

Would B.U.F.F Dudes Fans Really Like Another Workout App? (User Research)

  • Spent some time engaging in B.U.F.F Dudes Facebook Fan Pages, talking to other fans to see how they follow their workouts
(other than following the content already put out by the "Dudes".
  • From the conversations, I develop a user persona that closely resemble the pain points from fans
User persona slide describing a potential fitness app user. For the BUFF Dudes app.

Can You Even Lift, Bro? (Tracking Success)

If this app was to launch, I'd want to track standard metrics like time on app and number of sessions, but beyond that I'd would like to track number of users that are coming to the app, engaging for about 40 minutes (avg lenght of a workout session) and then completing the session by hitting "Finish Workout"

I spoke to 5 different business owners and develop a user mapping, problem statement, and user story.
